Ferrochrome is the most important raw material for the production of stainless steel, mainly used in the production of stainless steel, ball bearing steel, tool steel, nitriding steel, heat strength steel, tempered steel, carburized steel and hydrogen resistant steel.

Alias: High carbon ferrochrome also known as big eye chromium.
Natural properties: natural block, each weight shall not be greater than 15 kg, the size of less than 20*20mm of ferrochrome block weight shall not exceed 5% of the total weight of ferrochrome.
Grade: High chromium with 50% chromium content as the benchmark assessment unit.
Note: Material, particle size (chromite with 50% chromium content as the benchmark assessment unit).
Application: The corrosion resistance of stainless steel mainly comes from chromium. Experiments have proved that only when the chromium content exceeds 12%, the corrosion resistance of steel will be greatly improved, so the chromium content in stainless steel is generally not less than 12%. Therefore, the supply and demand of chromite is closely related to the supply and demand of stainless steel market.
