90 Silicon Carbide

Application of Silicon Carbide
Refractory Materials
Silicon carbide is extensively utilized in the production of refractory bricks, silicon carbide crucibles, silicon carbide charges, and other related products. It plays a crucial role in iron and steel industry applications.
Electronic Devices
Silicon carbide possesses superior thermal conductivity and high-temperature stability, making it highly suitable for the fabrication of electronic heat sinks, electronic packaging materials, and power semiconductor devices.
Coatings Industry
Silicon carbide exhibits excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. When incorporated into Teflon non-stick coatings, UV-resistant coatings, and fluorocarbon coatings, it significantly enhances the oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance of these coatings. Consequently, silicon carbide finds widespread application in outdoor building coatings, power plant coatings, and marine vessel coatings.
Raw material crushing: The hammer crusher is used to break the petroleum coke to the particle size required by the process.
Dosing and mixing: Dosing and mixing is the process of weighing and mixing according to the prescribed formula, and dosing and mixing of petroleum coke and quartz sand according to the process requirements.
Electric furnace preparation: Electric furnace preparation is to re-trim and finish the last used furnace to put it into use again.
Furnace loading: Furnace loading is to fill reaction material, thermal insulation material, core material into the furnace in accordance with the specified type, part and size of the furnace, and to build the side wall of the melting furnace with thermal insulation and material holding.
Power supply smelting
Power can be supplied after the smelting furnace and transformer are connected.
Cooling
After the smelting furnace is stopped, natural cooling is carried out, and then pickpocketing is carried out to continue natural cooling.
Oven grading
Oven grading is the process of removing the crystalline block and graphite from the furnace, and separating the first grade, second grade, graphite and other things.
