What is Silico Manganese?
Silicon manganese alloy is an alloy composed of elements such as manganese, silicon, iron and a small amount of carbon. Silicon and manganese in silicon-manganese alloy have strong affinity with oxygen. When silicon manganese alloy is used in steelmaking,with low melting point, large particles and easy floating. Good deoxidation effect. Under the same conditions, when manganese or silicon deoxidation is used alone, the combustion loss rate is 46% and 37%, respectively, and when silicon manganese alloy deoxidation, the combustion loss rate of both is 29%.
